BestRent is a privately-held rental brokerage operating across five Asian capitals since 2014.

We don't list what we haven't seen. We don't take side commissions. Every fee on our platform is paid once, by the tenant, transparently.

What we actually do

BestRent is a privately-held long-term rental brokerage that focuses exclusively on relocating executives, long-stay travelers, and families settling into Asia. The catalog is deliberately small — 2,140 properties across Phuket, Bangkok, Bali, Tokyo and Singapore. The standard is deliberately high.

We're not a marketplace. We don't take user-generated listings sight-unseen. Every property in our system has been personally inspected by one of our 47 local agents. Every landlord has been verified. Every lease is escrow-protected.

Where we have boots on the ground

How we make money

One fee. Paid once. By the tenant. Transparent on every listing before you book. We charge nothing to landlords for listing. We take no side commissions from property managers, furniture suppliers, lawyers, or anyone else in the workflow. This keeps our recommendations honest.

Who we work with

Most of our tenants are corporate relocations (about 40%), long-stay travelers staying 6+ months (35%), and families settling in Asia for school years or sabbaticals (25%). Average tenancy: 14 months. Renewal rate: 64%.

We're not the right fit for short-term holiday rentals (Airbnb does that better), week-long business trips (hotels do that better), or buying property (we don't sell — we lease).
